Comanche County Fair... started off with the fashion show July 8th in Protection, followed by various events and activities at the fair grounds that were fun for the entire family.

The Concession stand was open all week and the proceeds went to help build a new Fair building, which is planned in the near future.   If you would like to make a donation contact Mike Deewall, Comanche County Extension at 620-582-2411, or any Fairboard member.
 
Coldwater Daze and Rodeo... August 7, 2010 
The Coldwater Chamber of Commerce sponsored the "1st annual Coldwater Daze" celebraton starting with Swimming Games at the Coldwater pool. Lots of prizes were given to all the winners of the many games.  The Squirt Guns were very popular. 

The parade followed at 6:pm, then "Cow Pie Bingo". The cow was turned into a gridded arena, where she finally "left her mark" in the square of Melanie Hoffman who won the $200.00 prize.  The final event of the day was the 1st Annual Coldwater Daze Rodeo which was well attended and lots of fun for the whole family.
