Each Wednesday evening in Lent there will be a Lenten Devotion at 6:30 p.m. at the Protection Methodist Church. Bring a snack or finger food to share. A different person from the church will be doing the devotion each week.
Saturday March 13, Coldwater Chamber of Commerce presented their annual Appreciation Banquet. Dinner music was provided by Sue Talbot and Sherry Marlow while a delicious Spaghetti dinner was being served,The Blonde Chef, Nicole Frazier is amazing.
Guest speaker, Dave Rose, from Salina, with United Country Real Estate, gave a power point presentation on the value of e-commerce and the effectiveness of a good website. He also shared a few ideas about "on-line auctions" with immediate, live audio feed from the actual auction location. The attendance was good in spite of the ball game,
The evenings of May 2nd, 3rd and 4th, Evangelistic and Renewal Services Rev. Rob Schmutz will be at the Protection United Methodist Church bringing a Word from God. His messages will inspire faith, call us to commitment and challenge us to serve Christ. The youth pastor from Rob's church in Benton, KS. is coming with him and we are planning some exciting and special times and sessions for all youth too! The community is welcome to all parts of the event.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve this community events page or have any ideas about other community projects, please contact Rita ccedf@giantcomm.net
