Comanche County Economic Development Foundation

Mission Statement:

To unite Comanche County in the desire for, and commitment to, promotion of economic development through:

Fostering a favorable climate, conducive to growth, of new and existing industrial, commercial and agricultural businesses;

Encouragement and support of new opportunities for the betterment of future generations of Comanche County.

Available resources for residents & businesses:

Neighborhood Revitalization Program: A property tax rebate program that reduces property tax for 10 years (new construction, rehabilitation and additions to home/business). Must apply with County Appraiser prior to beginning construction to qualify.

Rural Opportunity Zone incentives: Comanche County is one of the newly named Rural Opportunity Zone counties, per new legislation (Senate Bill 198). Information forthcoming - rules & regulations expected to be released in May 2011.
